Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!
This is strip 169, which is 13*13.
1313 was the address of The Munsters.

An eerie co-incidence, don't you think?

An ark is an ark, isn't it?

I thought I'd celebrate the comic's first birthday with a cross-over strip.

Happy 1st Birthday!

Tomorrow, Friday, October 24, 2008, (x, why?) celebrates its first birthday! I'd like to think that it's come along a bit from that first "Co-Medians" cartoon, which didn't even upload correctly.

I can't believe it myself that I managed to keep it going that long during busy periods at school or during the long, lazy days of the summer.

Moreover, I find it harder to believe that I posted 164 comics, as of yesterday, in that single year. That's a rate of better than one comic per two days. I originally planned updates once every three days, but lately three have been four updates per week.

I hope to keep it up as long as I can. And I'd like to thank you, the readers, out there, especially the ones that I'm not related to, nor went to college with. (Thanks, to you, too, guys, but you kinda, sorta, have to follow again anyway.)

Comments, opinions and cold cash are always welcome, but only the first two can be entered on this site or the Comic Genesis forum.

Counting Down: 10 - 9 - 8

No, I'm not really counting down to anything.

Just making a note of today's date (10/09/08, by the U.S. standard usage). There are so many unusual dates that if I made cartoons for all of them, that'd be all I did. And it would get a bit monotonous.

I think the title says it all.

Today's strip is dated 20081008. That might mean something ...
... but only if you're a math teacher, I guess.

... and maybe not even then.

Summer '08 Movie Wrap-Up, Part 2: Six and the City

No, I didn't see it.

But I probably would've liked my version better.

So I guess that I've finally decided that 7 is a female.

Edit: sigh. Blew the joke. Just realized this morning that it say "What are Big" instead of "What about Big". I'll fix it later. I'm off to work now.

Sunday Comic: Super-Stickman 20.2 -- The World's Thinnest!

Dateline: Stick-World!
Super-Stick-Man has been called out be the Super Legion Against Super Heroes, aka SLASH, a notorious band so notorious that we're calling them notorious already even though they only formed a week ago and they haven't actually done anything yet, except for calling out Super-Stick-Man.

But before Our Hero has time to even ponder the question as to whether he can take on five villains at once, he receives aid from other heroes, namely Stick-Ball Bat-Man and his sidekick Ropin...

Page 2 of the new four-part story is here. Last week was the Prologue, and now the action begins. What are you waiting for?

You know, I still can't read the words "In a world..." without thinking of the recently departed voiceover
actor from the GEICO commercial. Or the other one from the Jerry Seinfeld movie.

Those would be Donald LaFontaine and Hal Douglas, respectively.

It was only a matter of time before I did a Car Wars-themed cartoon, I guess.
Time's up.
